Each CBO and product head has been given a target nos of people they have to reduce every month. Let's see what spin is given here - half yearly appraisal process is my guess
I agree with you. My EM told me that they have a common group where they received a list of people who would be put on PIP from management . Four people were moved from my team yesterday. However, the most significant concern here is for developers; they are monitoring the number of code commits. Those with fewer than 1000 lines added to Git per month are under scrutiny.
