Push Notifications: Web Engage v/s MoEngage v/s something else
PMs and Engineers here - which platform have you used to send notifications before? Was it WebEngage or MoEngage or something else? What is your review and what do you prefer most?
Moengage bloats numbers on their dashboards to show they’re making an impact. There’s a very detailed thread on Twitter about this where a person showed proof that email numbers were more than 1.5x than actual numbers.

Yep the CSMs are pretty helpful too

Clevertap. Have actually tested both.
Moengage shows slightly better numbers on their dashboards but the way calculate deliveries is flawed. CT has atleast 1 downtime a month but it’s still well worth it imo

Aren't these marketing automation tools? How do you send notifications from these?

You will need to integrate with your firebase And apns accounts to send notifications. They don't give any out of the box solutions
After reading all comments here. Looks like Clevertap is the correct way to go 😳

CleverTap is cheaper than moengage. But with lots of downtimes.

It was so expensive to run clevertap. Heavy bills. Rather use something like posthog
We are having problems with moengage. Major data inconsistency. They are not able to debug.

Netcore has done well in the last 3-4 years. Have seen a few moengage and clevertap moving to netcore

There's this new startup I came across. If it's a b2c company and almost every sprint 1/2 engineers work on notifications, SMS, email etc. You can try fyno.
They have integration with almost all the providers out there
