Hi I am currently at 1.5YOE earning around 60-65k appx I am getting opportunities to do an MBA in tier 2 colleges like IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, IIM Nagpur etc Should I consider them or should I take a drop for a Tier1 MBA or should I continue to grow workex and switch in IT domain only ?
What are future interests post MBA ? Are you inclined towards consulting, product management or any other domain ? What is the current timeline you have to make a decision?
For context, I'm a recent MBA grad from IIM C, with two yrs workex in IT.

Fin roles generally require relevant points in profile that you can build during your college life. There's nothing as such core mba role, what you might be referring to is a general management role, which prefers people with workex. Regarding the part to get away from IT, you'll get the best opportunities in IT sector given the pre-mba workex. So will suggest not to be so adamant on avoiding IT space. Your current pay sounds good, if there's no other constraints & confidence on getting better score, one more attempt sounds just okay.
