Should we bring Blind's "TC or gtfo" culture to Grapevine?
For people who aren't familiar with Blind, Grapevine is an Indian version of Blind. Both support anonymity and company tagging. One difference is that you can't sign up on Blind to post/comment without your company's email-id. That said, Blind has this culture "tc or gtfo" which mandates that the post creator must attach their total compensation. It helps in multiple ways 1. When you post something, you expect something from the community. So sharing your TC is a way to help back. 2. It shows what companies are paying to what level. It helps all of us to negotiate better in our jobs/interviews. What do you guys think? (Maybe not gtfo but something nicer).

1. Many here are not affiliated to companies - students, freelancers, laid off people
2. Same case with TC, some have variable income too - business persons, early age founders
So to answer your question, No.
Let's not make Grapevine judge people based on money or company
For giving back, we have salary feature included in the app
It might be helpful if people do it of their own volition.
But I do feel people will start making fun of somebody who's asking a question/saying something and has a 'not-ideal' salary.
It's best to have equal weight in words, regardless of salary
