Sleep cycle fucked - need help
I got a hybrid role in a startup that started late in morning. Was waking up around 9 am to reach the office. Now I have shifted to a remote role. Which has got me waking up at 1 pm (or 2) and awake till 4-5 am. I don't have any reason for the shift; it just happened. I have tried all youtube methods, but nothing seems to work. P.S. One good thing, I have the soundest sleep now. Don't even remember snoozing the alarms.
if you really want to fix it, try not sleeping for a night, and then throughout the next day as well. By that night, you would be in bed early and will sleep really well as well. You should be able to wake up relatively early, and then stick with it. It works likes charm to me.

Tried it, fell asleep by 6pm and slept till 12 am.
Still didn't work
The trick is to not going that early to bed. Try to stay awake until 9:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

Okay, I do wake up on time if I'm excited about something. The order day had booked a 9 am movie, was up by 7 having only slept at 5
You are getting 8 hours of sleep so how is the sleep schedule fucked? Just make sure you take proper meals in the day

Yea that's the only good thing. I was on 5-6 hours when it was WFO. But still would like to wake up with sun ๐
I work for US client as well and have same timings. I ensure that this doesn't mean I sleep less than 7 hours and miss out on meals and other tasks. The only difference should be that someone is waking up at 6 and you are 12, rest everything can be same. In the last 2 years, I have hardly woke up in the morning.

Try fixing this over 3-4 days, rather than a one time attempt.
Try sleep one hour in advance every day.
Lie in bed.
Phone in a different room.
Lights off.
Even if you cannot sleep, just lie down.
For further effect exercise in the day, get physically tired.

Try to fix the schedule over a few days.
If you stay awake till 5, first make a goal to go to bed by 3. Avoid screens after 11-12 pm. Just lay in bed in a dark room even if you can't sleep. Might be difficult first but eventually you'd be able to sleep a little early every day.
