The Edtech overselling problem. I literally make 25LPA rn and theyre saying they can take me to 60LPA
Even I know that’s not happening anytime soon. Why lie like that

Done Edtech for a couple of years, the only person who can do this is you! These platforms don't have this much of a value add! If you're struggling with discipline, then it will make sense to explore such options else, you can do it on your own, tons of free relevant content is available now. Figure out referrals once you think you're ready, things will be easier post that!

Few months back received call from scalar, when I told him I'm working on AI project he was like that experience doesn't add any value to your profile you need to do some courses and learn different tools

This is BS. If you need higher package, focus on startup companies, they’d pay well for rightful candidate.

New snake oil salesman. The culture of turning everything in a rat race starts from coaching classes at a very young age.
Actual engineering chops are still lacking in our ecosystem but everyone wants sell yet another “algorithms course”. The funny part is that it isn’t even a good or in depth algo course.

60lpa at amazon sde2 (2-5yoe) is possible. But i doubt these edtechs are offering promise for sde2 roles.
