Ok. After some more clarity. State budget is 3 lakh crore. Of that 40k is freebies. So whatever is planned under 3l cr budget for development should ideally continue. However, been getting too many reports that no work is happening. Everything is stalled except metro. Phase 3 metro will be super delayed but under construction metro will not be hindered

I appreciate he was very clear on this. It also makes sense because a lot BLR voted for BJP. Registered BLR residents need to band together and influence ward , municipal elections. FOLLOW the school board election of San Francisco OR the city council elections of Seattle. They are extremely important races for a city. Same needs to be done in BLR.

That's because the Central Government literally arm twisted states to increase tariffs. Now they are planning to implement Surge pricing on electricity consumption at certain times of the day. Not sure which think-tank comes up with such Innovative ideas to screw Indians. I bet it's the same one who thought of Demonetization & 20% TCS for overseas credit card expenses.

Bangalore is unfixable regardless of who governs. You need to stop asking companies to set up there and move out a whole lot of them. Get people to WFH. Commute is a nightmare, going to and from thee airport is horrible.

Infra isnt a problem, cars are...

Cars are a terrible way of transporting people, they take up a lot of space and slow down traffic movement. SF has the best and widest freeways but has the worst traffic. Being a middle income nation about to invest in infra, we have to make a choice if we want to go the American way? Or can we come up with an Indian solution. After a decade of flyover construction, it might be too late. We will end up with even larger city with 4X the road length and much worse traffic. I believe in the European approach of paid entry for cars in Central Business District to discourage car ridership and funding Public Transport.
