Too many MBAs ruining companies?
Thoughts on this? I myself did my MBA from a T-1 school and found it value enriching experience that allowed me to crack my role at Uber.
What do you think?

We need more MBA's

@Fortis_et_liber disagreed. i hate MBAs.

Why?. To compete with HR on being useless?

There is no degree that shapes you holistically into a much better person.

@Fortis_et_liber is that a joke?

Shaping the person is the agenda, I would recommend cycling.

Don't know about west. But in our country there are two kinds of people who do an MBA
- People who don't like their existing job.
- People who don't have a job.
@Qwerty2398 this is not entirely true. Some people actually want a business education. I dreamt of it since childhood and was ever so excited when I got it.
Finally, it also gave me a good job and a career

"It's got you a good job and career"... My point 1

lol, MBAs know how to extrapolate the cost of everything but they don’t know the value of anything. Value comes from building or selling , not “managing”. What MBA teaches you is a bunch of basic courses and how corporate works, that falls flat on its face when they are asked to show results(aka value) . Moreover, courses complicate simple things to justify the cost of such a course. This simple idea of complicating simple things is what leads to actual value builders calling MBAs out. The list is endless- Jobs, Musk, Larry, Sergey, Zuck

MBAs are the worst bro

Youtube Video rendering wow great @gv team

This is just the beginning...
Remember there are way too many iims and way too few jobs for the
7500 MBAs that are churned out from iims
1700 CSE students churned out from IITs from around
18000 IIT grads that get churned out
EVERY. YEAR.
I don't know about you
But the ratio of managers /MBAs to CSE grads should kill the it industry, yesterday...
I know for a fact that the MBAs don't like retail jobs, very few consultant roles in top consulting firms, fewer ops roles, fewer still bulge bracket banking roles,
Indian banks..? LoL
So yeah a big majority of the 7k are going to boss the 1800 odd CSE grads around
Good luck

Too much hate in the thread for MBAs; In reality take any leadership echelon of a large company/ startup and you will find it filled with top IIM (BLACKI), ISB, FMS grads
MBA from these institutions still offer one of the best shot to the huge student base residing in Tier2/3 cities to top corporate positions.
Also, degree usually doesn’t add much value in itself - it’s more the brand name (which brings with it a network) and the rigorous process which brings people to these top institutions.

MBA's do what now? Build relationships (with high attrition rate of their employees being the pedestal on which they maintain these relationships), jargon words and man work from home revealed that you don't need these MBA peeps for most of the work.
