What should be the time table for a developer?

Guys, I’m struggling a bit with my time table. Could you please help me out? What should be a good if not perfect time table for a software dev.

My time table is: Wake up at 9 and do all work Do the work from 10 till 1 Lunch and Nap Continue the work till 7 O’clock sometimes 7:30 Hit the gym till 9 Come back and take bath Dinner at 10 (almost) DSA at 10:30 to 12:30 (Preparing actually) Sleep at 1.

Now, this doesn’t seem fine to me. Help me out if you have any idea to fix this.

Thanks

@FireHawk I was going to suggest the same that @Zebrafish has detailed here. If you are a morning person, then you can try to go for this. Tweak the time according to you. For example if you want to do gym in the evening, then you can have your wakeup time at 6 am, which will neither be too early nor too late.

You are doing perfect just dedicate some time in learning and upskilling.else everything is going well. What you want to change in this?

Okay so few things:

  1. After coming from gym, I’m simply tired, but I have to do preparation so I’m bound to do it.
  2. When I wake at 9 sometimes it becomes 9:30. So, I’ve been late to work few times.
Don’t know how to fix, where to put all this?

I read this book called ‘Eat That Frog’ which essentially tells that you have limited willpower in a day. And it decreases as your progress along the day. So, do the things that are most important, first thing in the morning. I try to get done with gym and upskilling before starting my office work at 10. Keep the evenings for socialising and personal life.

I really like this advice, seems fair. Everyday after office I feel like I'm dead/passed out. After office only relaxation fits

Yeah this is the only way it seems.

You're not in school anymore macha. Keep some flexible timings for yourself no? At least an hour in the day for leisure/doing nothing. And switch up things occasionally.

Yeah this is what I’m thinking right now.
