How to manage both health and continuous learning being a hardcore software engineer

I was fit during my college days, but after starting my job my health started deteriorating day by day, I gained almost 20 kg since I started my job. Recently I started going to gym and I lost 7 kg and I'm still going to gym now. Now the problem is when I try to learn/study on daily basis, I don't have much time to go to gym and vice-versa. I am a hardcore engineer and I would love to read or gain knowledge about internal working of any technology but now I also want to be fit and disease free, can you suggest me how to balance both of these while also keeping some personal time off?

Note - I'm working in a startup as a platform engineer so I have to work a bit longer (8-10 hrs) a day most of the days.

10 hours ain't that long. Commute/office/food 12 hours total on average. 7 hours of sleep. 2 hours of gym + shower. You still got 3 hours.

Removing 1 hour of chores and 1 hour of hobby/social media

You still got 1 hour left. This can definitely stretch to 1.30 hours.

Its just that your day is full packed now. It is doable but definitely hard

All of this sounds good on paper, after continuous deep work following up with the schedule is not easy unless there is a habit of things.

@Deadpool_rev you need to build habit, start by going to gym for 15 mins and not more. And you progressively increase your time at the gym. You do this by blocking a dedicated time. No compromise on that. It’s a long game.
