I'm a BBA student in the new Delhi tier 2 college. 4 months ago i decided to pursue my career as a data analyst.
I have learnt basic SQL, power bi, python and currently working on tableau. I'm in my 4th semester and my college is providing internships in companies like IGT,concentrix,BT as a customer sales executive🥸. Should I do that internship for 2,3 months? I'm a fresher with 1 year of experience in Wipro, I am an electronics graduate and joined the IT sector. Initially I have prepared core Java and Sql and cracked the job offer with a 4 Lpa package. I'm currently learning DSA with java and preparing for cloud certifications in AWS as part of my job role. I don't have clarity on how to move on further like do competitive programming or Front end or dedicate myself for Data analytics roles and excel further as a data engineer or as a Data scientist in future.
The buzzing sound of parents asking me to get a government job is also a factor making me question my career and myself.

Hi, so I graduated two years back with a bachelor's in management studies (bba basically) but I was hell-bent on entering the development (social) sector for work which I eventually did a few months after graduating but unfortunately things didn't work out for me and so I chose to finally leave the sector due to the meagre salaries being provided. I've been working as a copywriter for the past 5 months since I was not able to get any calls from other industries as they deemed my social sector exp irrelevant. Turns out that even the ad industry is a low-paying one, so I have decided to try for Product Management roles since the responsibilities align with my interest and the pay is great. But as I do not have a tech degree or exp, is it even possible to enter the industry? Is there any way to leverage my social sector experience since a prerequisite for the social sector is to be able to empathise with the beneficiaries which is akin to understanding the pain point of users in corporate?

I am unemployed since 1 year,did not do anything for 1 year coz of some reason , earlier I was in QA but now want to get into development. Already 1 year is gone which is big enough career gap and I am panicking. Now I am not able to understand whether I should join any software development course like Crio or shall I join any Data science/ML course. Whatever I have to do it will take 6 months more , but I guess I have no choice. I know basic nodejs and all but no knowledge of Data science however DS will be more in demand in future so that is why I am thinking about that. But I am not sure which one shall I take ?

I just wanted to know from folks that can anyone learn Data science in 6 months good enough to get a job or shall I opt for software development course. Also , if I shall go for data science course , please suggest me some good training institute for it.

Stuck myself at lower section

Hey 

I joined infosys in oct - 2022 and now it’s been 1.8 months. My tech stack is MEAN stack but I was on bench through the year, recently got into a project but for only 4 months. I developed and learned by my own and gained a better knowledge on angular.
Now the situation my company has made for me that I need to switch asap, within a month or two.

Can anyone suggest me how to prep specifically so that I get offers from other company.

My DSA skills are gone and feel like I need to learn again from basics.
I have knowledge about angular.

Can anyone suggest me how much DSA I should learn and focus right now to clear interviews.
I’m planning to get a grasp over python and start doing DSA questions in that plus polishing my angular skills too. 
I have basic knowledge of node.js MongoDb too.

Will I’ll be able to switch within this time frame?

Please can anyone guide me through it so that I can plan smartly and can switch.

So I am currently working in a big 4 firm. Main work is on databricks and snowflake. I wanna switch my job but only have 1 year of experience. Now asking what should I do? I kinda hate my current job. Dev work is less mostly is just supporting other team members

What to do?

I’m a college grad from IIT in CSE. I haven’t done any competitive coding or any proper coding during my college days for that matter. I have lost confidence in myself for some reason. I had taken up a business job but left it in a few months because I thought I could do better. 
I want to do competitive coding but as soon as I open my laptop, anxiety kicks in. 
I need guidance on how to proceed and what recourses should I use. 
I don’t want to waste my degree as I feel I can do better than my previous job. 

Please help me on fighting my demons.

I'm a recent IIIT-Bangalore graduate. I interned at companies like Amazon and Jupiter Money (a fintech startup), working on Full Stack Developer, using tech like Spring-Boot, Java, Javascript(Node.js, React, Redux), Typescript (Next.JS, Nest.js), GraphQL, and Databases like Postgres, MongoDB. And with 3+ years of experience in freelancing offering services like Data mining/analysis and visualization using Python (pandas, bs4, matplotlib, selenium).

Currently working on a contract based Full stack application at Omdena, building a dashboard for an AI application, for a user to classify text between discriminatory and non discriminatory texts, with login and admin functionalities, displaying various statistics along with filters. Using React and bootstrap for the front-end, and fast-api in python for the backend.

I am currently actively seeking full-time opportunities. I'm adaptable to new technologies and believe I'd be a great fit for the job - with a variety of skills, and great problem solving abilities.

What's the next step?

So I am currently working on mainly Python and SQL. I was thinking of upskilling but I am confused whether I should go full stack role maybe learn react or should I go data engineer role and learn big data. I have worked with ETL software’s such as snowflake and Databricks.

I want to switch job but looks like no one is hiring for someone who only knows python and sql.(though major work is on sql only )
