And the ads are all bogus.

Hardworking, high-earning individuals struggle to find matches, while those with less income who put on a show off tend to attract more attention.
High earning individuals don't have time and they don't take rejection easily. I feel they are more about numbers than emotions and connections. my pov

It's become a commodity. Public places where you could just hang out and meet people are slowing being replaced by establishments you need to spend. Everyday we get bombarded with countless advertisements promoting unreasonable beauty standards — buy this and that to appeal to a potential partner. Sell yourself as a product on these online replacements. Not just commodification of a relationship, but commodification of individuals within the dating world.
