Allergy and Sneezing in Bangalore.

Is it me or you guys also feel like sneezing, runny & stuffed nose every morning when you wake up. And when you just put your legs outside the door continuous sneezing and postnasal drip starts.

None of this happens when i go to my hometown or other places.

I have been facing this thing for 2 years and today I researched and found that it's due to pollen allergy & allergic rhinitis due to rapid climate change.

Do you guys have any hacks or solutions if you are facing this too or would have faced in the past.?

Health is of utmost importance and non-negotiable. You should leave Bangalore and move to your hometown immediately. You can find another job.

Parthanium weed is the culprit. It's an invasive species that Congress imported in to our country in 60s with wheat.

They say pollens are to blame, but not all pollens are problematic, just this one. We have it in my hometown too and it's unbearable.

I've been allergic to it since 20+ years now. I've not found any hacks or solutions. You can take medications, they will damage your body in the long term.

As weird as it may sound, sneezing is THE medication. Your body knows what to do with external agents which should not have come in through breath. All medications just suppress this natural response, and are hence harmful in the long run.

The only way is to leave this environment, and stay where parthanium is less or non existent. Though such areas are rare, it's even found in the Himalayas now because of rapid construction work which helps it find ground to settle.

You can google it up, and get to know your enemies. For the solution, sadly staying away is what works in long term.

🫂 try having homeopath medicine if you are facing this on a regular basis as it will keep it under control.

Or can try Levocitrizine and montelukast but consuming it on a daily basis would have side effects.

One thing i have also noticed is that even in different parts of Bangalore it hits differently. Like i have this issue in Whitefield but when i stay in HSR Layout it doesn't affect at all.

Some people are prone to this allergy, it's quite unfortunate that in some people immune system acts weirdly in presence of foreign pollutants, this causes release of mucus to moist nasal passages.I have had this too.

You can opt for homeopathic medicine as it is a long term treatment but gives great results plus try buying an aur purifier and try running it whole night, surely you would feel the difference when you wake up.

I've faced this every now and then . But since I'm born and brought up here , I'm used to it.
If it's too much , I just pop in a citrizin tablet

Allergies suck in Bangalore. Any advice?

I've had a cold for three weeks since I landed in Bangalore. Usual Allegra has failed. The ENT said my airways are sensitive to Bangalore's pollen and dust. Now on nasal spray and meds. Anyone else facing this? How are you managing?

Allergies (probably pollen)

Do any of you guys get pollen allergies where your eyes are constantly itching and you're sneezing when you wake up? Did you do anything to fix it? What's the solution?
