How do i need to do to increase my payscale?
I am working as data analyst in healthcare sector with 6 years of exp. However my payscale is as low as 8LPA even after switching the companies. I dont know whats wrong in healthcare corporate industry where they just dont want to spend money on employees but have revenues in billions just like any other IT giants, i see people in banglore having ~80LPA and here i am struggling to achieve 8LPA even after 6yrs with multiple awards and recognition from clients and having certification trainings completed. Please suggest.
Thank u for your honest opinion and suggestions. As suggested, i want to switch but am somewhere afraid that switching companies on regular basis might have negative impact on my resume. I have switched 03 times in 6years of my career. The annual hike in all the companies i served was not more than 2-5% at my level.
Its upto you how you want to go ahead with your career but if u don't try something you never know what you are capable of and always regret that you never tried. Multiple switches can be negative for some and cannot be for some companies and in interviews how you answer or convince the interviewer that also matters. Need to learn that art also and tbh we all are learning this thing. Multiple job switch doesn't mean you have to switch in every 3 to 4 months it means try switching in a year or best is go for multiple offers which can act as counter offer in your favour in your current switch. In this way you don't have to do multiple switches one switch with multiple offers will help you to grow.
First, stop looking at other's salary. Even if you are getting one crore per annum there will be always be people getting more than you.
Think about switching company, even if you aren't interested. Give interviews and know your worth. You will get to know your worth only when you interview outside your org.
Seems this company is exploiting you and possibly others. If you just sit ideal you will get nothing. Go and ask for hike from your manager, set 1:1 with your HRBP and manager and openly ask for hike. Nothing wrong with that. Don't take No for an answer.
Currently the only solution is multiple switches and multiple can increase payscale
