How do you make sure you clear an interview at Google?
A friend has a kickass resume (according to me) for a very niche business role that just opened up at Google. But he has no experience in applying for big companies. We’ve been reviewing his resume together and honestly, all the feedback I have is from what I have read online. He seems to be sure that he’ll be able to nail the interviews but that’s honestly not a problem for later imo. He has a referral and wants to make sure he gives his best shot. For those who got interview calls or work there right now, what do you think worked for you?
Reaching out to the recruiter directly?
Also, please ask whoever is referring your friends to leave a message/mail to the recruiter vouching for him, beyond a referral

Gotcha. Are you suggesting he reaches out to the recruiter directly to apply?

There are many third party recruiters of korn ferry and Randstad hiring for google . They have their emails mentioned in linkedin about me . You can reach them directly.
