Best approach of getting your current salary increased

In August, I joined a new organization following the closure of my previous one. Things are going exceptionally well – my manager is pleased with my performance, and I'm learning a great deal. Workload is manageable, and during a casual web browse, I discovered high-paying job openings in my field. Now, I'm contemplating whether pursuing interviews is the right move, given the rare opportunities. I've had one-year stints at two previous companies; I'm curious about the potential impact on my career. Appreciate your insights.

In this year's appraisal cycle, I got a good performance rating but bad hike and no promotion 😔 Currently multiple projects are highly dependant on me, and it will be difficult for the company to find a good replacement (Subtle flex, but it's true), and due to this I feel like I'm underpaid at my current level. Have you ever been in a similar situation? How did you negotiate a better salary? Should I look for a better offer outside and ask my current org if they can match it or resign? Because next appraisal/promotion will only happen a year later from now. Please share your experience of negotiating better salary at current org by getting a better offer outside, how did it go and what was the outcome?

So I interviewed with a company two months ago, after all the formalities were done, I received a response from the HR that I have cleared all the rounds. But the requirements for the position they were hiring me for suddenly changed and they asked me to wait for a while until a new position positions opens up matching my tech stack. At that time I was about to be released from a project in my current company so getting the notice period reduced to 2 months was not that much of a hassle. Today, the HR called me again telling me that a new position has been opened up and if I am available to join I can join. My official period is of 90 days and now I have been allocated to a new project in my current company. I have been wanting to switch since so long because of variety of reasons. But the problem now is the notice period in my current company. The HR is very strict about joining within the 60 days but I am not getting any vibe that my current manager is going to reduce my notice period. Please suggest if there are any ways out of it. Just a curious question. If i have 2 companies with almost the same offer(12 LPA), both are start-ups. Can I negotiate with 1 of them that I have another offer of around 14 LPA. And if yes do they ask for proof before joining or after? POV: It's my first switch?

I joined my company couple of months back. I’m 2023 passout and previously i had an intern experience at a startup, i gave interview of SAP Labs because i was not sure of my PPO. In the HR round of SAP Labs HR asked me about the salary I’m expecting at SAP, i told her “X” and after getting that number she told me she would get back to me after discussing it with manager, but after couple of days she offered me “T” which was way less than “X” . I knew she was tryna low ball me but as i did not had any other offer in my hand, I had to accept it. But with the salary that I’m getting (ik it is less than my peers) i just don’t feel like giving my full at my work it just demotivates me, should i talk to my manager about this? because while joining my manager thought i joined at “X” ctc but I never revealed this, also i do not have an idea what exactly should i convey to my manager. Please help me out

Guys, I have 8 years of IT experience out of which , 2.5 in azure. I got a call from Capegemni HR , saying there's an azure opening, asked for my current and expected CTC. I said the current is 7 LPA and expected is 20 LPA. It's a hybrid role with 3 days working from the office. She said it is not possible, Max they can give is 10-13. I am in Kerala,and have a baby under 1. I have to relocate if I get it. I don't think it is fair salary. Is it ok if we don't tell when they're asking for our current salary based on which they will give max 100% if we perform exceptionally in the interview. Or how can I deal this? Thanks in advance.
