Best brand for Weekend/Office casual clothes?

Hey folks I was looking to buy some good shirts and pants that I can wear both during weekends and some days at the office.

What brands are your favorite and why do you love their aesthetic/quality?

It totally depends on personal taste and flavour tbh apart from what brand fits you well.

For Casual Days, I prefer tshirt and jeans, been hooked to H&M, March Tee etc for casual tees that look and feel well. Go pastel and plain with dark navy clear jeans and some nice pair of sneakers or casual shoes. Prefer brands like Neemans, Clarks, Hush Puppies for this!

For a more formal/ weekend formal look you can look at Mango, Zara, Marks & Spencer for some good looking shirts. I prefer these with jeans again, or if not a more semi formal trouser from either of these brands. Been hooked to celio for some other rugged on the go shirts. Pair them well with maybe again a semi formal shoe from Also, Clarks etc.

The rule I follow is to keep it minimalistic and plain, and top up on shoes and watches to build a more mature look :)

Man of culture. Wdym by rugged celio shirts, any examples? Also any examples from M&S? Their collection has never really caught my eye.

Rugged ones are usually the thick pastel shirts they have, that can act as an overshirt as well if you want to keep things cool & casual

M&S I agree, their collection isn't very consistent and takes a hell of a lot of time to find something elegant yet modern with them. Though I have their slim fit shirts and trousers for formal events& they've been running sturdy for years. I would suggest going to their bigger outlets given their sizes vary by quite a lot at times and to also keep a look at their collection.

Apart from this, also planning to try bear house on freindsnrec

You should try this homegrown Indian brand called ‘March’ .. you will love their minimalistic yet durable clothing line 🤘🏽

Nice review, what's your cut?

PeppyPotato

March is an overpriced brand. They have done a good job with their photography and targeted marketing. There are many brands that sell the same stuff (minimalistic supima cotton) at a much lower price point.

Uniqlo - I'm shocked people are wasting money on LP, Indian Terrain, CP, AS, lavda lasun when Uniqlo exists. Literally everything you need will be there at great prices and superb quality. March Tee after them.

Rare Rabbit - quality of the shirts are just amazing 🤌

GigglyDonut

No. It's just a wannabe baniya shop trying to look cool with piss poor customer service. Designs are ok. Quality is below average for the price. Try real quality brands like LP, van Heusen, etc.

Men on Grapevine: which apps/ dtc brands to do you buy clothes from?

I’ve lost 15 kgs+ and I haven’t bought anything in last 2 years. Was saving up for the day I become fit.

Now that I’ve, I’m going on a shopping spree.

Suggest me. Not looking for anything high end, might lose some more weight.
