This one’s for the startup people
Ask me anything! I work in engineering and I’m happy to answer any questions you might have on what it’s like to work in a startup.
I work at a startup which has 100M revenue with small engineering team based in US Canada and some in India. I am earning good here given my YoE. Then comes this big tech working on monoliths and old design patterns with such high salary that I can't imagine at my age and YoE. I think that's how Google/Amazon poached all hard working and hungry engineers and made them a dumb Devs. I think that's how they killed creativity. Nevertheless, OpenAI did come out but that is just 1 company. There should have been more.
YoE- 2 TC - 29L New offer- 44L+ other benefits
Not sure but why you invested your time doing interviews of BigTech? As they make people dumb.
Lol. I was dumped by a girl and feeling really down. I didn't want to be alone that day and needed to be in some company. So I went. Not bragging but I was not serious about the role anyway.
You should write more LinkedIn posts.
29 is not good bro, big tech pays 50-60 to your you, google, Amazon, atlassian, Microsoft etc. Tiu are dumb to think that you are highly paid.
Have you ever worked in any big tech or worked closely with a big tech engineer?
I can confidently say that in general big tech engineers are not dumb so your generalisation is arguably wrong.
Even if you take the big tech offer, you can find startup opportunities at any point in your career.
I didn't mean dumb dumb. I meant people who were meant to do much bigger things than they were capable of. Big fat monthly cheque prevented that.
Just another Tuesday on grapevine with not so boastful and ever so humble posts
Haha. It's not boasting if it's true and you are anonymous. Nevertheless, the fact stays intact.
Try making some friends/ new hobby
