Interesting. 
 For biodegradable it is possible. Though via methane. So still need to clean up the emissions. 
  
 For non-biodegradable waste, specifically plastic or other polymers that would be hell of a technological breakthrough. 
  
 Do you have any insights on the technology in this space?

I am working in material science to solve this problem.

Let me share a few, if you have any leverage in the industry feel free to build on top of them: 
 * Gifting: Personalisation of branded products, A gift card that works across D2C brands, A platform where people can find gift ideas for a person. 
 * 3D printing: A platform where designers can upload their designs and customers can buy. Designers would get a fixed % commission on per unit sold. Can start with stuff like Anime figurines. 
 * Real estate: Fractional ownership of real estate projects - > instead of buying a flat/commercial property own a part of it. 
 * Fashion: A startup that allows local retailers to get access to fast fashion, reselling of designer clothes - > specifically wedding clothes,

What stops you from *stealing* an idea that you found mind-blowing from a pitch of a startup trying to get a seed funding?

Hey grapes I have an idea for a startup that could generate millions in profits but I was wondering how and ways to approach angel investors, vc's etc for funding? Will they steal my idea and build their own startup?Do I need them to sign an NDA before pitching? Where and How can I contact them for the same?

P.S: I do not know anything about raising funds and a newbie. Looking for help.

Hi , this post is intended to be a disclaimer to anyone who is planning to join Yubi. A lot of things are happening here that show some signs of an impending layoff

1) Several senior folks in tech and product have quit. Also there is no replacement hiring planned for them. Several projects are also getting shelved as a result.

2) there were several open roles a few weeks back and almost all of them are on hold as of now across all depts( tech , business , ops)

3) rampant cost cutting. The lunch options have been reduced to just 1 dal , 1 veg , rice and chapati.  Snacks have been removed too.


Because of several folks quitting in less than 6 months and no replacement hiring , load has increased tremendously on existing members who are themselves trying to leave. 

People have serious doubts on whether any hike or bonus will be given or not this year.

Majority of Indian startups has toxic work culture and the same is not true for any US or Europe based startup. Indian startups just copy paste ideas from the west and apply it to Indian context. We don't have original product barring few such as Postman and all. Why is it so and how we can improve the situation?

I’m sure all of us have thought of something exciting to start at some point, but choose to continue with corporate life.
