Crisis coming for White collar job
AI is unlike any other past technology revolution. It is going to make cost of intelligence trending toward zero.
Going by exponential curve of AI growth, in next 3-4 years, we are going to have an AI model which can code better than 95% of coders...
Deep mind already has model Alphacode which can code better than 50% of competitive coders.
People are living in fool's paradise by thinking that AI will create massive amount of job....
It won't because it will make cost of intelligence near to zero making coding, analyst, consultant, product management job redundant....
What takes 100 coders to build a product won't take more 10 coders in few years from now...

OpenAI is team of 120 top researchers... And is shipping some of the top product....currently valued at 29B$ and in my opinion the next trillion dollar company....
Instagram was team of 12 people when it got acquired by FB for 18Billion$..
The amount of jobs that will be created will be in field of AI alignment, safety, AGI and that will miniscule in comparison to jobs that will be automated...

You are some of the few people who is able to understand the consequence of generative AI. The arms race towards be the best or perish has begun. I am a MBA guy and I was able to create a full stack app login using chat gpt and googling. Before chat gpt I tried and failed due errors and needed a developer guy

Anything that requires physical activity, sense of touch, smell, taste, eye-hand coordination will take a little longer to automate...
Works which can be done by WFH sitting in front of laptop will be automated soon..
Of course, if you are best in your profession, you won't be replaced.

I think it will start with embedding AI to improve productivity and lower the cost of intelligence.
Seems like it will be a techtonic shift rather than a sudden thing. Slow but impactful.
