
Future of software engineers
With AI, here’s what I see happening in the next 3-5 years:
- Junior dev roles may shrink as automation increases.
- Experienced engineers will always be in demand.
- Upskilling in AI/ML is no longer optional—it’s necessary.
I have seen LLM models getting better day by day and seem to replace a lot of tedious roles that interns would do. How will this change the job market over time? Should people start learning coding to stay relevant in today's times? How will this pan out in 10 years?
Ignore anyone who says AI is fad like web3... AI revolution will make computer revolution + internet revolution +mobile revolution look pale in comparison
Unless some one ran a basic XOR neural net code and understood the AI capability, these questions will continue to popup.
