You have 9 LPA at your first full time job. Most people start at 3-5LPA. I don’t understand what’s there to be demotivated. Sometimes life throws roadblocks, you pick yourself up and keep working towards your goal.

You’re giving up your profession at the first sign of trouble? Maybe it’s really not meant for you.

Most people who start with 3-5lpa are those who started doing programming very late and probably are not interested in this field
Why should i be comparing myself with them, if i had started out very early. Have been consistent with programming, maintained a 9 pointer, did multiple internships(which includes sde intern at Cisco). The hiring in software industry sucks at this time, people who did not even have a leetcode account are placed at 18.75 package How is this justified?

Bro I will tell you my situation I got 6 month internship at Amazon on campus, and got placed in a 14.58 lpa company. Amazon did not provide PPO and just a month before joining my offer got revoked. From 2 offers to none time does not remain the same. Right now I am working in a company I feel shy to tell the CTC also to by friends. My father has a very high loan of 30+ lakh in his business. But I will not give up.

Your first job after graduation heavily depends on luck. Within two or three years you’ll have the job you actually deserve. Having a good pedigree will definitely help when you switch

But what about the pay, i had an all rounder profile in college, above 9 cgpa, more than 400 questions on DSA, received recommendations from all My employers on LinkedIn. Did not get ppo because both my employers wanted to hire senior employees that time. Feels software engineering is not for me

It's okay to be in this condition. But blaming it on industry since someone wanted senior folks? It's not about software mate, it's the business dynamics. And wherever you go, it's there. So understand this.

My current company has a 3month notice period
Will that be major issue?

Yes. 3 months notice is undesirable for most companies

A 3 month notice period has become common in the service sector. We take advantage of this by stacking offers, especially in the last one month and get a very good hike. This is a cheap HR/management policy which we can use against them to cash in on big bucks. Cheer up mate!
