Does being a woman in tech have advantages?

I was having a conversation with a few colleagues the other day, and they mentioned that I was lucky and privileged to be a woman in STEM right now. This got me thinking, as I've always felt that women were underrepresented in tech roles.

I'd love to know your perspectives on this.

Men on GV, do you think being a woman in tech has any specific advantages or privileges? Women on GV, how has your experience been as a woman in STEM, and do you feel it differs significantly from your male counterparts?

Women have always had privileges: Special events, hiring only women in name of diversity hiring, not giving them night shifts, wfh advantage, office commute

Yes in name of diversity they are few policies in IT firms to promote women employees
If company is giving promotions to 5 people in a year out of those at least 1 or 2 should be women And also its mandatory now to keep women in managerial and leadership roles
