Epfo service history overlap

Hey, I graduated in June’21 , and joined a company but then I got a better opportunity and joined another company in December’21 and resigned from my current company in December’21. But the new company wanted immediate joining and I had to join the new one and I was also serving notice in period in previous company. So this led to 2 months overlap in my epfo history which is now affecting my BGV when I am trying to switch. Please help the fellow lady techie, as I have no idea what to do :(

To answer your query. There is an option on epfo portal to mark exit date for every company.

So you can make exit date for first company as (original date + 2 months)

This will work ij your favour

Exit date is already marked by my previous employer but as I joined before getting relieved, I have 2 months of overlap in service history. I received 2 months salary by both companies, so that caused overlap in PF history. This is now causing my BGV to fail while I am trying to switch now

You can try to visit near by regional office. Website won't help you much. Resolve sooner the better.

You should take careful step here. Because it's not just a mistake but you might have overruled the signed agreement stating you'll not indulge in paid activity with other organisations during your tenure at the current one. I'd suggest not to give this complete explanation to any of the organisations. It'll turn against you. Look for some other ways to resolve this.
