I had too much to drink yesterday and my stomach was hurting a lot. I was feeling super nauseous. Suddenly my stomach gurgled a lot and I became too nauseous. I had an Ondem but it couldn’t save me from what was about to come.
I started running for the washroom when my manager suddenly grabbed my arm. “Hold on! I need your input on this analysis!”
I panicked and tried running but he was deep in explanation, completely ignorant to my predicament. The pressure kept building, and I could hardly concentrate. Finally, I managed to escape and rushed to the washroom, but it was too late.
I had an accident and puked all over my dress.
What could I have done differently?
Could have just said it is an emergency and go to the toilet. Embarrassing incident but people will forget in a few days. If you feel too much embarrassed then ask wfh for a few days .
Last night was a mess. I got caught up in the mood at work, drinking way too much, like way past my limit. Honestly, I don’t even remember exactly when things took that turn, but I know it was a blur of loud conversations, drinks in hand...
