From Elec Engineer to Microsoft ERP

I want to switch my career from electrical engineer in Vizag to Microsoft ERP or SAP ERP. In both of them I have better knowledge. My age is 32 unmarried now. Is it good choice please suggest

Presently am working as electrical engineer in Vizag in a avg decent company, but I earn 30,000 per month which I think is very less. I have tried in other companies but the domain itself is earning very less

Please dont come in software firld, its soon to be wiped out specially the generic ERP consultants. Each ERP is introducing AI eg SAP Joule, you can get apps implemented and insights generated on the fly. See all around, its a bloodbath, software industry is dead. Continue in your core field, at least you are building something tangible and your value will grow with age unlike IT where you are easily replaceable with new kid on block with 1/10th your salary. Ignore low starting salary, career is a marathon, u need to see yourself as 50years old father with kids education/marriage and ild parents health expenses, and you will not find many 50 years old folks in IT.
