Got 40% hike in present company but still want to leave because of unstable work life balance

I work in an MNC in Mumbai, I resigned recently due to so much stress. Everything worked fine, got many appreciations from the higher management, all my projects were successful but I choose to leave. It was building up from so many days, I have spent days working almost 7 days, put in 14 hours of work but it never stopped and nobody cared. Now when I have resigned asking them a 60% hike and after negotiation it came down to 40%. But the pressure is immense and don't like the culture where employees are not treated right. It didn't happen to me but I fear in the coming days it might happen if I even fail once. Is it normal in MNC?

As per what you have mentioned, it's clearly visible that there are more cons than pros. If you are not happy then don't give it a second thought.
Yes it is very normal even your next company could be the same because its the people who make work place hell and end of the day you can't change them, so either live with it or find a way out of that place.
