🪔 🪔Happy Diwali to Everyone 🪔 🪔

Wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali! Today, as we celebrate this beautiful festival, I can’t help but think of all the people who long to spend Diwali with their families but are unable to due to work commitments. I currently live in Bangalore for my job, and this thought has been on my mind: so many people across India wish to celebrate Diwali but cannot because their offices are open.

It’s disheartening to see that many companies, especially MNCs, don't provide holidays for Diwali, even though it is such an important part of our culture. While these companies observe holidays for Christmas, Diwali often goes unacknowledged. My brother, who works at an MNC, hasn’t been granted leave today either.

I urge the government to take action and consider mandating a holiday of at least 2-3 days for Diwali, allowing employees to spend this precious time with their families. Festivals are an essential part of our lives and traditions, and it’s crucial to preserve this aspect of our culture. #IndianGovernment

Some companies have given holidays today on the occasion of Naraka Chaturdashi and tomorrow for Kannada Rajyotsava... hope you have got it. If not then you could have applied for an optional holiday... Happy Diwali 🎇🪔🪔
