Had a really bad fever. Took paracetamol. Office folks had CSGO night. I drank ton of beer.

Hospitalized in 2 hours. 💀😵‍💫

Our Colombo office used to be in a Victorian era bunglow that was converted to a Hotel. We'd rented one of the suites that served as our SL + Maldives sales office.

The flush in the ensuite used to go off at odd hours of the day, with no one using the restrooms. We thought it was the result of our collective imaginations running wild when in reality someone on the floor above may be using the flush.

After 3 months of frequent debates within the team, we enquired with the head of housekeeping. Apparently one of the house-helps had committed suicide in that ensuite about a 100 years ago.

"She's harmless, just flushes and goes away" - were his exact words.

We used that office for 6 years after this conversation.

Was stuck in office late at night with a couple of folks due to heavy rain and no auto/cab availability, One of them got some biriyani from a local place. Everyone who ate it got the worst case of explosive diarrhoea!

Last month on "request" form business team someone manually edited rows from some table in production DB.

Nothing beats the horror of seeing a co-worker getting laid off despite him/her being highly skilled. Post that u’ll be in suspense whether the next is u for infinity and beyond.
