Have you ever felt like beating the recruiter with shoe/chappal/sandal

I felt it once when he offered me a majestic hike of 2 lakh on my current salary. Please note i was NOT jobless/on-bench and told him specifically i am looking for growth opportunities. Also, my salary is in XX lpa range. That recruiter didnt budge from his 2 lpa increment and i said thanks but no thanks to his generous offer after wasting my 3 days over technical rounds

Fuk. Yes for sure, everyday. I went through major medical situation & doctor told me to stay at home for 3 Months - I resigned from prev org. On bedrest for 4 weeks.

I applied there before the operation, and they scheduled interviews, ghosted me for months & bla bla shit. Finally rolled out offer stating that I'm at home & "should" be able to join immediately. Which I denied & (their audacity) to threaten me that they multiple people waiting for the role.. on top of that they just gave me an hike of 1Lakh.. stating that I don't have any offer as of now.. and they are "being generous" - 🔔

Oh finally I denied. Can't take risk with my health & landed a better opportunity but there as well the recruiter did the same.. cheap hike, threatening behavior lol. I don't know how they develop such a behavior.
Although my interviews were great so I was able to negotiate alot :))

That chappal should be dipped in water and then slammed on HR face. They act as if they’re the company’s well wishers

Every other recruiter and HR I deal with is like this. Questions like why frequent job switches.. Why a gap after layoff? I get that they probably have to type it into a form, but seriously fuck these ghouls.

It's demand supply economics. No need to get personal or emotional about it
