Help me choose a car

Budget roughly Rs 25L. Looking for an overall good car with a nice driving experience, not hell-bent on either too many features or premium safety. Primarily driving in Bangalore, with hopefully one weekend trip per 1or2 month(s). Strictly petrol AT only.

Škoda and Volkswagen over everything else

Did test drives, didn't feel that impressive. Lack of space in the back for 3 people and the premiumness was the deal breaker.

What about the poor service?

Toyota

Multiple concerns with Toyota when I went to see Hyryder. The car roof isn't high enough, it touches my head with I sit in the back, so for a taller person it'll be super difficult. Plus the sunroof isn't covered properly. Car will easily get hot in the summers.

Why not sedans? Can't go wrong with City / Verna / Slavia / Virtus.

Sedans aren't my type. Looking for SUVs only.

Xuv 700 would be ideal

Huge + spacious and safe as well

Loved the insane amount of space! Have heard that it is among the best suspension in the segment too. Mileage might be an issue. Got quite over budget, and hence the deal breaker.

Buy Electric bro. Gadkari is gonna add ethanol to Petrol and these engines useless and reduce the mileage too

Aiming to do multi-day cross-state long drives. EV infra is not ready for that yet. Would love to take an EV when the infra is set up properly and exudes the confidence :)

Haven't really heard anything outstanding about it from the reviews I've seen. Plus, it only has diesel variant. I was looking for petrol only.

Any reason for not including Kia Seltos ? IMO it’s better than Creta.

Comparable, wouldn't call out any difference as significant enough to change my mind. Hyundai (and Creta) has a better brand and resale value.

My girl recently picked up a kushaq 1L AT even after I told her not to…. Now I only drive her car.. PS: don’t look at the odo for mileage and you will be happy

Haha, good for you my man! I did a test drive. The engine didn't feel that powerful to me, especially the sports mode. The manual mode was too good tho. The suspension also wasn't that impressive for Bangalore potholes.
