Depends on what you are looking for. If you plan to commute daily with it highly recommend a hatch back with Automatic Gear shifts. But if you are looking highway trips and occasional city drives then a sedan is decent choice.
If you are person who loves driving and get a thrill in the performance of your car go for VW Virtus GT version. But you are person who likes to have gimmicks of features you can go for any sedan out there. Whatever you choose, stick with automatic gear shifts. Happy to answer more queries on this.
Any good cars below 10 lacs?
In this budget you will mostly get AMTs. If you are in BLR please buy an automatic, your left feet will thank you for it. Please TD Kiger (Turbo only), Punch, Altroz, Amaze, Exter and feel for yourself.
This is a very broad question. Honda City Hybrid (save fuel while stuck in jams). Also, the city is still sophisticated. Complete no nonsense car. If you could give more information about why you want a car, then maybe better suggestions can crop up.
Go for an SUV considering the roads are so smooth in blr. Plus if you have a good height a high sitting car would be more comfortable.
With a sedan you'll encounter road clearance issues and will have to brake at every pothole.
I would recommend Hyundai Creta turbo automatic (top model) or Seltos ( fits well on the road , feature loaded, low/ decent maintenance )
