Hi peeps, I am at Infosys and applied to Oracle via referral. I told that my official notice period is 90 days but can be negotiated to 60 days. I cleared all rounds of interviews. HR called me and said offer roll out would take 1-2 weeks time. Meanwhile talk to your manager and get a confirmation for 60 days release.
Now I am not sure what to do because there are 90% chances I won't get an early release (even though my project has not work).
Also I am not sure if tell Oracle HR, that I cannot join early, would it change the chances of me getting offer.
What am I assuming is she wanted to know whether I can get early release or not. If not, she might not send me offer. So I told her like "I can't communicate with my manager until I receive the offer as it would be a vague communication". But I am very confused what to do. Please help. I really want to leave Infosys.
Say you will get 60 days release as project is going to end and my manager agreed to it verbally . Then get the offer letter and ask Infy to release in 60 days as you need to go for higher studies. Most of the times managers do release early for study reasons . Worst case , do a noticr buyout and be at peace.
