How is ola for a product manager ?

I am being interviewed by Ola right now. I want to know from Ola folks or non Ola folks who know people working in ola regarding work culture (I heard it's shitty). Salary expectations (I have experience of 8 years). Perks, benefits, growth etc.

Product manager for Electric? Be ready for 7 days working in the office, 11pm daily standups (yes pm not am), Bhavish ka mood kharab hogaya toh galiya sunna, main app ke code ko koi chuta nahi hai because there isn't any documentation and people leave or get fired without KT. Perks, benefits, growth l**** ka hai, there's only one reason (ok 2) to join Ola: Teri current salary bakwas hai and you want market correction, your previous orgs were no-name companies and hence u want a consumer internet giant on your CV.

Hahaha. Product manager for their maps team. I knew the work culture was bad but didn't know it was this bad. In my case ye dono hi reasons nahi hai join karne ke. Now I feel like interview me energy kyu hi Dalu aesi company ke liye 😅

Get ready for some catching practice from Bhavish when he throws something at you in frustration during meetings. After quitting Ola you might want to join RCB and may even win the trophy in a rage.

Extremely extremely bad, my friend works there and he is applying outside and is open to taking even 50percent cut in salary

My friend quit without a job. He went back to his village to destress and then came back to blr after 3 months.

It’s much worse than Gojek. I wouldn’t even consider it.

What do you mean by much worse? Gojek's work culture is not even close to worse.there is a great work life balance

I have worked in Ola and ik they are building their own maps. Recently the manager who was leading this team got fired. Work culture is horrible, I will say it is worst. No additional perks or benefits. Even you have to bring your own bottle to drink water in office. Growth is good but it comes with terrible wlb. You can get better opportunities. Good luck!

Had a couple of rounds with them. They had no idea what they wanted to hire for - kept saying it’s open and we’ll figure out once you join. Interviewers in general came across really stressed out.
