If you want to set a benchmark for yourself, that question would not be helpful. I thought you were working on some survey or startup idea. In any case, absolute savings number are a function of salary, remittances to home, Std of living, loans etc.

I recently met a 10yoe sales person who started at 12K but currently earns north of 7-8L fixed and then some commissions and freelancing.

A survey about expenses is more well placed though. With 10yoe, I spend around 60K a month in BLR

Sky is the limit if u have no debt, own family expense, live below means, etc. On the other hand any one or more of these factors would not allow u to save much. Doesn’t mean that the individual didn’t see a lot of Credit to his account. Maybe ask in terms of credit 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rich through SIP in MFs, it's a myth.

90% people invest around 10K to 15K per month in MF through SIP and remain invested for 5 to 6 years. Even with 12 to 15% CAGR, the corpus is too small to create any asset. Is it worth it. I wonder.
