Is there HR professionals who found job outside India?
Are there any HR professionals here who found a job outside India and moved there (not through internal transfer or offsite opportunities). If yes, do you mind sharing your journey?
so somehow I have transitioned from being a senior level designer who went on a sabbatical and eventually unemployed to leading asia team.
one of my initial tasks was to assemble a local HR and accounts team for the company’s local office. account team seems to be good considering I have no idea what they do but everything is on point according to HQ. now the problem the HR team. we vetted and hired few folks with good experience but completely got blind sided by their attitude. internally we create and apply with fake profiles to judge how they work n experience was shit to say the least. ironically like my last post asking everyone for high school grades to last salary slip (both are completely illegal in HQ country). on top of it they give a call to everyone and never follow it up. so as I am petty and decided to lay off the whole team.
now our strategy is to hire through department heads. we need only 90 folks or so to be hired. what I need advice is does our European method work here.
-Apply to job on LinkedIn /website. -your CV gets masked up it’s our internal AI. (basically you name, sex, address, university names, school etc) only thing visible to hiring folks would be your tech stack, your degree name, your percentage not that it ever matters and work ex. -if it looks good we call for a video interview (we require both parties to on video) speak shit about life get to know each other. -one take home assignment on your strongest skillset (you define your own assignment albeit we decide the difficulty level haha) -immediately paid out a one time €50 on paypal for time spent on the assignment. the work cannot take more than a day. -if it works well, we ask you to come to our office for team fit meeting (we will take the expenses) -you start working with us
any chance we can get fucked over with this methodology in India?
Leave all that, Where do I apply?
Very good process. Do tell where do one apply for sw roles
Dec 22nd it’s rolled out public.. on our official website career page and also LinkedIn . Go to Ferrari page on LinkdIN jobs filter to Bangalore.. only English language jobs available..
What would the role be? Asking so I can create a LinkedIn alert, location and job title are mandatory fields for doing so.
What a process! I'd be the first to apply. I say go for it. Would love to work for Ferrari btw haha. Good luck
After assignment, one round to validate the skills with submission can be beneficial. Just a precaution to check whether he was the one who did it or someone else.
