If you’re dealing with Rejection while applying for jobs as a fresher…

I didn’t sit for final year placements due to family constraints and I was jobless for 6mo as a fresher. I’m now well settled into my career but have a little perspective to share with you guys today.

It's normal to feel disappointed when you don't get a job you really wanted. The key is to not take it personally. Remember that employers are looking for the best candidate for the job, not necessarily the best candidate overall. There are a lot of factors that go into whether or not you get hired, and many of them are out of your control.

The best way to deal with rejection is to keep applying for jobs. It can be discouraging, but don't give up. The more applications you submit, the more likely you are to get a job offer. And each time you apply, you'll get a little bit better at it.

If you're finding it hard to keep your spirits up, talk to a friend or family member who can offer support and encouragement. And remember, there's always another job out there.

At the worst it was easy to feel jobless and just as easy to feel deserving of a job the day I got placed.
