Work, Benefits and Culture at Koo App
How is the work culture at KooApp.com ? Since it is a growing startup, the work load can be a lot , but how is the environment? Fun, toxic, challenging? Also throw some light on benefits.
He said “aap sab ko marana pdega”.. you guys have to work your ass off.
No matter how much people hate such a statement, the fact remains that most of the great companies are built by folks who have pushed the limits and have not considered their work as just a 9-5 engagement to get money. Companies at young growing stage face many challenges and may not be suitable for people who have not bought to the idea that it can become big in future. Now whether they succeed or not is a different story. Marana imo is a necessary but not sufficient condition for startups and yea thats why its a high risk high gain game.
You have to work your ass to death to save my company because I and fellow leadership are incompetent morons
I guess this is what he wanted to say.
Marna or maarna?
Marana
Maraana
Wow, they’ve really gone koocoo
Thank my stars I didn't join them when they were Vokal. Had an offer from them at that point in time and they just re purposed their backend to Koo from Vokal. Both had really bad UI/UX. I was confused how they could make money using it and had asked their CTO at that time as well. They just gave a generic advertisement as the response. Eventually rejected the offer and joined elsewhere.
But their tech stack with graphDB like Neo4j and scala etc were promising and was what caught my eye.
Eventually took a call between tech challenge and PMF.
I will never get this. I remember thinking about it a lot. They raised $51 million and couldn't even get a decent template for the UI. I would have bought a good one off themeforest at least.
Exactly right. With all the funding if they can't do decent UI that doesn't look like College project then further monetization
@PrimeMean bol do "To mro BC"..mai chla. 😃
Mahine ki 40k emi jati h wrna zrur boldeta😂
I really don't understand why these companies don't look at themselves from the users pov. I mean why would anyone use kooo?
What is better or different in it than Twitter? Is it just a cheap copy? Nobody will use it then?
Need to create some different value for the users to attract them to use it. Network effect of Twitter is insane.
Meanwhile koo founder is busy in podcast rather than managing his own company
