India needs a hard restart

Don't take this post negatively but think hard and put your views. We all agree that India is doing great at this point of time but no one , literally no one is talking about the danger future we have in front of us in coming years. Below points need immediate attention and action

  1. Huge water crises in all the major cities and it will only get worse each year.
  2. Corruption still relevant in almost all government works from land registration to traffic fines to railway ticket fines, you name it.
  3. We really need one child policy for some years now otherwise we can't imagine how dark the future is in all terms, from food to employment to natural resources.
  4. Almost every food product from oil, ghee, butter is contaminated and the quality is just getting worse, to meet demand and to increase profits. Also corruption here.
  5. The weather is just getting worse because of all the concrete jungles we have created and this will also get worse , thanks to our never ending population explosion.

Barack Obama rightly said recently that we should focus on improving the health of earth rather than finding life on Mars. Earth will still have oxygen even after nuclear energy wars.

Sometimes I really think that we need real Thanos , who is the only one who can help solve these problems.

Your point 3 is not valid statistically. The birth rate needs to be 2.1 for an economy to sustain else you'll end up seeing results like Japan at some point. Too many senior citizens and too less youngsters to take the economy forward

Yes it can be the case. But would you value economy before the basic needs like water and food ? We didn't have this kind of economy before 100 yrs but we had good natural resources. As a nation we are hugely relying on monsoon, what if there is draught for 2 straight years. Our economy would still collapse

Also the female infanticide and gender gap will increase. See what's happening in China.

Yes I agree with the 1 child policy. Our cities are collapsing under the sheer population growth.

Is population the problem or concentration of population in top 4-5 metros? I think it’s later, we haven’t been able to develop multiple metros which can bring it some uniformity in distribution and subsequently less load in public infrastructure

Overpopulation is the main root cause of all the issues in India. Have you read all my points and gave it a thought. Don't you think we will face serious water and quality food issues in near future, let's say in just 5-10 years. Only population can bring down the risk of these issues

About Point 2 it is only possible to make an NGO or a group which maintains all the services that a government provides on cloud or online making it transparent.

We have seen government banning NGOs because they also were getting illegal funding. So that's also not a solution

Arre dude bhavana samjho, previously in my RTO there was a lot of corruption but now since everything has been shifted to sarathi parivahan website it has all become corruption free. I meant doing similar thing for MoUs house registration or transfer any other kind of agreement etc etc

maybe this world needs a (good)dictator?

Good dictator? 😂 That idea is as real as the world having a real Santa Claus to give everyone gifts. 😂

What is it with you anti-democracy fetishists? There are plenty of dictatorships in Africa. Just move there and enjoy, instead of spreading your dangerously lunatic ideas while living within democratic countries.

So people mentioning point 3 is wrong for economy to sustain, if there is so much overutilisation then the obvious solutions are get more resources or use less resources and since 1st can’t be done and 2nd only possible by controlling the population. Even if we have 1 child policy it would take us 100 years to basically half our population. I know economy would be hit for a few years but we will be able to keep our resource utilisation in check.
