hey all out there.
i've often wondered if the corporate world is truly meant for me.
with two years of experience as a business analyst, i find myself questioning my path, largely because i'm living far from my hometown and my current salary package isn’t as competitive as i'd hoped—just touching 9lpa. meanwhile, peers who started with similar backgrounds and experience have surged ahead. it’s not that i see them as vastly more skilled; they’re good, but it’s hard not to notice that they got yearly raises and promotions and are now way ahead of me, while i’m still waiting for my first since starting out. just getting the work done and even more is surely not taking me ahead financially.
sometimes, this situation feels like a personal failure.
i’m open to any honest feedback or even a tough critique. i just want some perspective on how to move forward.
