any idea on how the culture is in erstwhile voot / viacom18 which is now jiocinema?
heard it's changing but not exactly sure in which direction with the coming in of jio...

Viacom18 by itself wasn't the happiest of places to work. Jio will only make it worse.
The mother Jio is a horror show. I gladly do business with them but will never advise anyone to work for them.

the set of people in now jio cinema are all from other, hopefully and seemingly better companies , like Google, hostar etc. worrisome if that won't be able to carve out a better version!
Most folks in mother Jio also have decades of tech / telecom MNCs. Nothing permeates the Lala's iron fisted reign.
The trope has run for every industry they've gone into.
Retail - hired global retail giants from Walmart, Tesco, Asda, etc.
R Comm - same as Jio. It was Jio 1.0.
R Entertainment - Jio Cinema 1.0.
Everyone tried the induct their own culture - got waylaid by the OG sooner than later.
Reliance curse, avoid.
Don’t think it applies to their own brand companies :p It’s the ones they acquire, isn’t it?

Wanted to know what the culture at viacom18/jio cinemas is like. Especially in the tech team. Any current employes would like to share an honest review?
Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge about Viacom18/ Jio Cinema with regards to culture, financial perks and quality of work - especially after the acquisition? I am evaluating an opportunity in their strategy team. TIA
