job security in capgemini
I am switching from TCS to Capgemini, but many people are saying that there is no job security at Capgemini. Is this a bad decision?

I don't think any company can give that. I've been there in TCS and switched for better opportunities. It's okay to do that. Just switch out if you are getting a good offer and earn quickly what could take so long if you continue working in TCS.

Cognizant, capegimini and Accenture - Last bottom 3 companies

My friend works there and she seems pretty happy. Some days are hectic for her, but I guess that’s how corporate works. I don’t know about job security in Capgemini. But she is working there for 3 years now....so its stable I guess

Pata nahi bhai about job security in Capgemini. I mean these days you actually really can’t trust these private companies. The recession period has made everyone stressed and the way companies are laying off employees left and right, next thing you know ki aapko Capgemini se bhi nikalna par raha hai. Nothing is permanent these days.

Absolutely not. I am working in Capgemini for like 3 years now and I never felt that there is no job security in Capgemini. Now, if you don’t deliver good work or wrong work for a long time now, they might put you on a PIP. But, they won’t terminate you for no good reason.

I think the job security in Capgemini is not that bad. You can give it a shot. But, I would still suggest you check for employee reviews and then make your decision.
