Job switch - Oracle to Infosys

Hi..

I am an Oracle Consultant (Principal Consultant) working in Functional domain and have got 4.5 years of experience and my current CTC is 14.5lpa.

Recently, I appeared for Infosys interview and have got selected and have my HR round scheduled. Probably they would be asking my expectations and other things.

I request for your insight as in how much shall I ask for as hike and also what is it generally like for Infosys HR round?

Thanks in advance 🙂

He is a consultant there, where work is more or less the same as Infosys. So switching from Oracle to Infosys is not a big thing. It's just an Oracle's brand name making it a product based kind of reputation but work and work culture is the same as WITCH companies.

As a principal consultant, you are underpaid, try to get in a product company only

Don't switch to any service company. Aim product companies, preferably better than oracle. If money is needed badly, go to startups

Yours is a service based profile. Infy is a good option. Meanwhile, Try to give interviews in other similar companies.

You won’t find opportunities in product based companies with your current skill set.

Downgrading yourself , not a good move, unless fancy package and perks but again not advisable

What is advisable? Please suggest
