Would like to know regarding UI/UX design🎨🎨🎨
Currently, I know to work with Webflow, Figma, and Canva. Also, I know HTML, CSS, and JS and built some projects. Does that give me an edge over other candidates? Just curious to know🤔🤔
In 98% of the product design jobs I see this requirement of knowing HTML,CSS, JavaScript and / React would be a plus. Or experience with these technologies. Does this mean we should code ? Can anybody please help me understand what is the designer expected to do with these skills ? And is this mandatory?
I am working as a Product designer from 1 and half years now, I never had any requirement to code. I would design and handover and front end designers and developers did the job. Coding is not my thing, so a little worried.
No. I have 8-9 years experience. Often they mention these requirements in the JD. Mostly so that you can work closely with the developers working on the product. But you don’t need coding knowledge
No need
Okay. Thank you
Oh okay. This was helpful. Thank you 🙌
