Laid off via PIP

Today I was asked by Hr to resign, with 60 days notice period. What shall I do to save myself from further exploitation by the firm. Also, if I resign might have to give back my joining bonus as I have completed 11 months

Try to negotiate to let them finish your 1 year, then resign and if they want you to strictly leave in the next 2 months, ask them to reduce the notice period to 1 month.

If the HR has asked you to resign how can they claw back the joining bonus ? Check your offer letter to see if it details out when Joining bonus is recoverable

Guys, so hr has agreed to not revoke my joining bonus, I will be on payroll further for 2 months although no project will be assigned to me. I will have to return my IT Assets this week.

Thanks for response. Sorry, I do not want to disclose company name

Renegotiate, keep on negotiating and approaching till you don’t get what you want. Also have a GTO approach to it
