Explain your case to your manager if you need an early release from your notice period in Infosys. She should certainly approve it on an immediate basis, more so if there are no bench and critical dependencies. You could also request HR to calibrate your earned leaves against the notice period, which should cut down on the days that you will need to serve in the notice period. So, it is advisable that you negotiate with HR and inform them who may help in some way. For instance, collaborating to either provide a replacement or negotiate a buyout could also help facilitate an early discharge. In this case, you or your new employer can share the balance of the notice period days that remain.

Handling the notice period in Infosys can be tough, especially if you're starting further studies like an MBA. The standard notice period is three months, which can be stressful. When I left, I explained my situation to HR, sharing my need to begin classes in June. Though it’s not guaranteed, HR can be flexible if you show commitment to a smooth handover. However, be ready for some negotiation—you may still have to serve part of the notice or pay a fee. Open communication is essential, and try to get any agreement in writing to avoid future issues. Best of luck!

Navigating the notice period in Infosys can be quite challenging, especially if you have plans to join a B-school in June. In my experience, the company typically requires a notice period of 90 days. However, life might be unexpected sometimes., and you might find yourself needing to resign without serving this period.

If you're looking to resign without paying the associated penalties, it’s essential to communicate openly with your HR. They might consider your situation, especially if you explain your academic aspirations. In some cases, HR may offer a waiver if you can provide valid reasons, such as admission to a B-school.

In my case, when I was in a similar situation, I approached HR with a heartfelt explanation and requested their understanding. While it may not always work, being honest and respectful can go a long way. Just remember that it's not guaranteed, and every situation is unique. Ultimately, maintaining a good relationship with your employer is crucial, so try to handle the process professionally, regardless of the outcome.

Every company has a tentative notice period which employees are expected to serve. However, there can be situations where you would require an early release. Generally, the notice period at Infosys is three months. But, if you need an early release, you can let your manager and HR know about your situation.

If you want to leave Infosys on grounds of pursuing higher education, an early notice period is possible. However, for other cases, an early release may not be possible. Whatever the case is, you can talk to your manager, give him your valid reasons and come to a solution. If your manager is understanding, you can leave Infosys before 3 months. However, if they can’t find your replacement in a given time, you have to serve a full 3 months' notice.
