Peer pressure

My friends from good colleges are getting jobs, and sitting for more interviews. And in our college very less companies are coming(2-3 companies/month). I'm preparing really hardly. But couldn't getting any opportunities. So, day by day getting more depressed. What should I do?

Put a conscious effort to control what you think. Good for them doesn't mean bad for you. Be just concerned about your own self, your own world and make the best out of it. And it's totally fine. How someones' journey plays out has nothing to do with how it would play out for you.

Success(your definition) might come to you tomorrow or maybe a few years down the line.

Your journey is yours, it won't be the same as anyone in the world. It'll be unique to you.

  • infinity to this. You control your destiny. Don’t be worried as life itself is relative. So your peers success shouldn’t mean anything to you, just be happy for them and you will see significant difference in your perception and outlook in life. Comparisons don’t help, focus does.

You are not alone bro, we all went through such phases.

Hang in there, keep applying. All you need is 1 YES among so many rejections.

Believe me no one is behind and no one is ahead in these placements race.

I myself couldn't crack the mass recruiter's simple aptitude tests. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, couldn't even reach the interviews for these companies while my friends were having 2-3 offers.

I was not good with competitive programming and aptitude but i had some good projects and internships.

I kept applying off campus through linkedin and finally after 100 rejections got the remote offer with the package that none of my friends got.

Use LinkedIn get off campus opportunities. Don't just wait for companies to come on campus.

Same bro, I feel like for me gate is the only solution. MS abroad seems way too risky.
