Regret mail from Accenture for not meeting expected compensation

Hi All,

I have cleared the final round of interview with Accenture and I was told i will get a call from HR for further process but today I received a regret mail from Accenture stating they are unable to process my application due to not meeting the expected compensation.

At the initial stage they asked me for the expected CTC I mentioned a 60% hike, but I am ready to negotiate.

Without discussing they sent regret mail, how should I approach HR to negotiate or is my profile completely rejected?

This, I was there before. Things are looking bad. Earnings are going down, and there's lot of pressure at the lower level employees to boost billing, which frankly in the current economic situation is fairly tough

Thats not completely true. It all depends on market and project. I have worked in Accenture for 9 years and i feel mostly NA market is having to much workload. I am currently in EMEA for past 3 years and hardly have any pressure. Have to work for 4 hours everyday and working on latest technology.

It happens in multiple companies. People who are working in Accenture and got offer from TCS they are not considering Accenture variable pay but they include their variable pay in CTC on an average TCS are giving 15 percent hike. You are expecting 60% hike in current market
