Why do these people keep bringing IIT/IIM in every sentence. Even poor people should have access to basic amenities like water.
Just because you are rich and went to a T1 college shouldn't give you a higher right to resources than an average citizen.
That being said the water situation is bad.
Yes.. going to toilet is the only thing where they didn't bring IIT/IiM.. that has also come.
Just because someone went to a top school, does it mean he needs to be treated like god?.. of he was so awesome, why doesn't he leave the country, why stay here?.. this has become irritating. I hope it never rains till dec. Let that genius 1% go to office everyday.
That's because millions have said and billions have heard that get into IIT/IIM and your life is sorted. Thousands of times the media cried that IITs and IIMs fetch so much high salaries that one can only dream of.
Bringing it here kinda makes sense .. corrects the image of an IIT/IIM.. that they are regular people.
If your friend owns a flat in a society that dont have reliable water source then its his fault as much as its Government’s. Knowledge gained in STEM is not equal to common sense. People should reject properties without reliable water source. It is better of paying rent in locality where water is available. Or buying a property second hand after all these are settled.
After all these you cannot pull a card ‘no wonder people are leaving india’. We are the reason that builders are able to sell such properties. We are the reason why fomo still exists. Stop consuming and then things will sort out.
Bruh, he graduated from IIT/IIM doesn’t mean only he should not face problems, he is also a citizen only just that he earns more. And as far as top 0.1%, there are many self employed people in Bengaluru who earns his CTC in a month and even they are facing it. Just because he got the pedigree doesn’t mean he special. Then farmers should be the first people to get water in this crisis and we ain’t getting it(my dad’s a farmer)
Is it that really bad? I thought this posts are exaggerated
Nah. Its true in some areas. Societies which run on tanker water are finding it difficult to procure water. RWAs are helpless. There are RWAs that are super efficient. Due to local contacts and some influential people as residents. Others are just helpless they just don’t have leverage and are being fleeced.
Somebody just sent a WA, "is 1cr salary and 100 litres water per day sufficient to live in banglore" 😂😂😂😂
