Seeking Advice on Switching Companies After Three Years at TCS

Hello everyone,

Today marks the completion of my three years at TCS, and I am at my wit's end. I urgently wish to switch to a new company as soon as possible.

However, TCS has a notice period of three months, which has been a significant hurdle. In my previous job hunts, I've received calls from companies like Deloitte and Accenture. Unfortunately, they declined to arrange interviews after I mentioned that I haven't yet submitted my resignation.

Being that TCS is my first employer, I'm unfamiliar with the process of changing companies. In the past, I've held back from resigning due to family and peer pressure, fearing I wouldn't secure a new job afterward. But I've reached a point where I need to make a change.

I'm feeling quite frustrated and would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance from those who've been through a similar experience. How can I navigate this process effectively? Any suggestions would be immensely helpful.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Yeah, that 3-month notice period is a pain. Try negotiating with TCS or see if new employers can wait.

I told the employers about the buy out option especially because I was unallocated.
But they were adamant that TCS will make me serve the notice period for at least 45 days
